Poultry integrator OOO PF Akashevskaya, located in the Republic of Mari El, Russia, has invested in four new hatcheries. The first hatchery of 65 million eggs is currently being constructed, and the second and third (31 resp. 14 million eggs/year) will be delivered in the second half of 2013.
Al Akhawain, pioneering poultry producing company in Saudi Arabia, is extending its business with a new broiler hatchery. The project is to be completed in two phases, the first of which is now in full progress. Once finished, the hatchery’s setting capacity will amount to 66 million eggs/year, more than doubling the company’s current total setting capacity.
LDP Farms Food Corporation, supplier of day-old chicks to Philippine poultry integrator San Miguel, has signed an agreement with Petersime to expand their hatchery in San Fabian with an extra setting capacity of 576,000 eggs per week.
Nippon Chunky, Japan’s Aviagen (Ross) Parent Stock distributor, has recently expanded its business with a brand new hatchery in Okayama Pref., Western Japan.
Lantmännen Swehatch, part of one of the Nordic area’s largest groups within food, energy, machinery and agriculture, has recently replaced six incubators in its hatchery in Väderstad with Petersime BioStreamer™ incubators. At the same time, 12 other Petersime incubators have been upgraded.
