Russian vice-president visits PF Severnaya

PF Severnaya selected Petersime AirStreamer™ incubators for expansion of existing hatchery.

PF Severnaya, daughter company of Agro Invest Brinky B.V. in Ermelo, Holland, has come to full production. This complete poultry integration, located near St.-Petersburg, has become one of the largest integrations in Europe. With a current weekly output of 2 million day-old-chicks per week they are market leader in Russia.
Mr. Bert van den Brink (Managing Director) and his daughter Mrs. Willeke van den Brink (Director) said: “We selected Petersime incubators for the expansion of our existing hatchery because of the proven higher performance and reliability and also because of the close cooperation with Petersime. We invested in 61 AirStreamer 12S setters and 36 AirStreamer 4H hatchers. Hatch and post-hatch performance are remarkably better compared to the other non-Petersime incubators in our operation. We also replaced the controllers of all these incubators by Petersime FOCUS™ controllers, enabling us to use Bio-Response Incubation.”

The Russian vice-president, Mr. Dmitri Medvedev - who has a fair chance to be elected as the new president in 2008 according to several political watchers – recently visited the new hatchery and the poultry integration PF Severnaya.
