Agri&SD/Petersime seminar in Iran: Overwhelming success
On April 23rd of this year Agri&SD, sole Petersime distributor for Iran and Azerbaijan, successfully organized a seminar on "New Technologies in Incubation Industry" which was attended by over 500 delegates.
On April 23rd of this year Agri&SD, sole Petersime distributor for Iran and Azerbaijan, organized a seminar on "New Technologies in Incubation Industry". Agri&SD is part of the Kowsar Agricultural Investment Group, which through its daughter companies is having a leading position in the Iranian broiler and layer industry. The seminar took place in Tehran and was attended by over 500 participants, active in the Iranian poultry industry.
The programme included lectures by Prof. Dr. Eddy Decuypere from the University of Leuven (Belgium), Petersime's partner in incubation research. He presented incubation as a hinge between broilers breeders and broiler production. Other speakers were Mr Eric Bohez (M.D. of Petersime), Ir. Paul Degraeve (Director of Petersime) and Roger Banwell (Petersime Senior Incubationist).
They covered following topics: a Petersime company presentation, an overview of Petersime's bio-response based developments and strategy and finally a summary of research and field trials executed by Petersime.
Feedback from participants was extremely positive. Agri&SD was congratulated with the excellent organisation of the event and the contents of the lectures.
