The continuing story of Mr. Eric

After 45 years of dedicated service, Eric Bohez, Managing Director of Petersime NV (better known in the industry as Mr. Eric), has officially announced that he will retire by the end of this year. With a well established personal standing, he has finally decided to take his leave of us. As a real world citizen, Eric Bohez made a tremendous contribution to building the substantial reputation that the Petersime company enjoys today.
Mr. Eric has always been a worldwide explorer in continuous search of new markets and new opportunities. For many people he is the personification and the embodiment of the company.
Over a period of many years under his management, Petersime became the undisputed world leader, trendsetter and innovator in the field of incubation. A variety of innovative products were successfully introduced to the market through the worldwide network of agents, resulting in spectacular growth. Petersime went through various expansions at all levels, Production, Research, Service, Commercial, Projects, etc., not to mention the orchestration of several mergers and collaborative ventures. Even now, another major extension of the factory and offices is eager to hatch. Petersime today employs over 170 people and more than 95% of the production is exported. Over 50% of our shipments go outside of Europe. With operations in over 130 countries, Mr. Eric has enjoyed his share of air miles.
Stable continuity of Petersime’s management has been assured. Michel De Clercq (Managing Director) will continue the day to day management of the company. Eric’s son, Christophe Bohez (Director), who has been with the company for almost 20 years, will continue to manage the commercial business, while Paul Degraeve (Director) will remain in his role managing the technical activities.
