In Guangze County, Fujian Province, Fujian Sunner Development Co. Ltd took a new step in its growth journey with a new commercial turnkey hatchery. The project builds on a long-standing collaboration with Petersime that started in 2010 and has already resulted in four turnkey hatcheries, continuously contributing to improvements in chick quality, rearing performance and genetic stability. According to Fujian Sunner, Petersime has become one of their indispensable core partners in the hatchery business.

Clear goals, focused execution
Fujian Sunner approached the project with a clear ambition: improve day-old chick quality and hatchability compared to current multi-stage hatcheries, while achieving more consistent performance across the production chain.
To support these goals, the hatchery integrates 54 X-Streamer™ HD 24S setters, 36 X-Streamer™ HD 8H hatchers, and three X-Streamer™ Re-Store 12S. The setters and hatchers are equipped with Embryo-Response Incubation™ technology to help improve incubation accuracy and chick quality. A complete HVAC system – custom designed by Petersime – ensures optimal, stable climate conditions across all areas of the hatchery.
Alongside Petersime’s intelligent incubators, the hatchery uses Eagle Trax™ with the Basic, Maintenance and Trax modules. Together, these modules give the team real time visibility of performance, predictive maintenance insights to keep equipment running at its best and streamlined management of all core hatchery processes. This integrated approach helps the hatchery team make faster, better informed operational decisions every day.

This structured way of working proved particularly important during construction in southern China’s rainy season, where weather conditions can affect planning and site progress. Through close cooperation between all parties involved, the project was successfully delivered one month ahead of schedule and received the Outstanding Delivery Benchmark Award.
