Higest, one of the leading hatcheries in Mozambique, decided to invest in new equipment, increasing its incubation capacity with about 8 million eggs per year.

“We have been working with Petersime since 2011. Our hatchery was already supplied with their conventional S1152 and AirStreamerPlus™ 8H equipment. We are highly satisfied with the results. The hatchability is high and the mortality rate is low. With this expansion, we will be able to meet the increasing demand of our customers for top-quality poultry products,” says Mr Mario Couto, Managing Director at Higest.
For this expansion, Higest ordered 4 new conventional S1152 and 2 new AirStreamerPlus™ 8H incubators. The project also comprises the Petersime HVAC system for the setter and hatcher room. All equipment will be installed by the end of February 2015.
