Japfa Comfeed Vietnam (Company Ltd.) is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise that has been functional in Vietnam since 1996. The company has established its most modern hatchery yet in collaboration with Petersime’s equipment and expertise. For its first project in association with Petersime, Japfa Comfeed Vietnam has chosen single-stage X-Streamer™ HD incubators supported with the Eagle Eye™ hatchery software to optimize its results.

After years of operating different hatcheries in Vietnam, Japfa Comfeed Vietnam decided to expand its business once again. The company partnered up with Petersime to install and start up its fourth hatchery in the country, this time at the Krong Pac district in the Dak Lak province. The new hatchery has been operational since 2022 with a design capacity of up to 40 million chicks per year.
For the establishment of Japfa Comfeed Vietnam’s most modern hatchery yet, Petersime has installed 12 of the top-notch single-stage X-Streamer™ 24S HD setters and 6 X-Streamer™ 8H HD hatchers. The hatchery will soon accommodate 6 more of the single-stage X-Streamer™ 24S HD setters and 3 more X-Streamer™ HD hatchers. The entire operations are monitored by the Eagle Eye™ hatchery software. A tailor-made HVAC system was designed and developed by Petersime to harmonize with the local climate conditions in the Dak Lak province of Vietnam.
The incubators are all equipped with Embryo-Response Incubation™ technology and are custom automated to incubate Japfa Comfeed Vietnam’s two domestic genetic chicken lines – black plumed Gà Chọi and hairy red crested Gà Mía. The technological programs have been personalized by Petersime’s incubation specialists to allow for a maximum gene expression of the company’s coloured domestic chicken strains, resulting in top-tier chick quality and performance.
