Poultry Africa 2019: Ambition to engage in poultry

in Events

Petersime looks back at a bustling success at the Poultry Africa 2019 Expo and Conference in Kigali, Rwanda.

On October 2 and 3, Petersime was present at the second edition of Poultry Africa in Kigali, Rwanda. Géraldine Mukeshimana, the Rwandan Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources, who officially opened the exhibition, acknowledged the growing importance of poultry meat as a source of protein in the African continent and its ongoing impact on the country’s industrial landscape. She considers the expansion of the poultry industry as a valid next step to securing national food availability and thus boosting economic growth. In line with that vision, Mrs Mukeshimana has taken a great interest in Petersime’s incubation and hatchery technologies.

Additionally, entrepreneurs from all over the African continent actively engaged in conversation about the increasing demand for new, modern hatcheries. Fifty-five guests attended our seminar about Embryo-Response Incubation™, showing a high motivation to learn more about single-stage incubation, often with the intentional purpose of improving the poultry sector in sub-Saharan Africa.
